Typical Communication Development

In typical childhood development, there are predictable patterns of skills that emerge at each age and stage from infancy through adulthood. We can use these patterns, along with current research, clinical judgement, and family input, to diagnose communication difficulties, guide intervention goals, and track progress in individualized support programs.

Building Language Skills at Home

Parents of young children and older children with language delays often want to know how to support their children’s communication at home. Below, you will find several guides for incorporating language-rich activities at home.
