Michelle Ranks, M.A. CCC-SLP, Licensed Speech Language Pathologist

I completed my bachelor’s degree in Audiology and Speech Sciences at Michigan State University and then moved on to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for my master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders. For the past 15 years, I have worked at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. In that wonderfully challenging environment, I gained broad experience in evaluating and treating children with developmental and acquired speech, language, cognitive, and feeding/swallowing disorders.

My main goal with every client is to use evidence-based approaches to achieve functional communication so that they can express themselves in meaningful ways within their community.

Outside of work, I enjoy running and sewing.
